300g (2 c)All Purpose Flour
2tspBaking Powder
1 ½tspCinnamon
½tspNutmeg
¼tspClove
¼tspSalt
124g (½ c)Apple Cider
113g (½ c)Applesauce
139g (¾ c)Brown Sugar
113g (½ c)Vegan Buttermelted
1tspVanilla Extract
1mediumAppleshredded
Glaze
120g (1 c)Powdered Sugar
2 TbsPure Maple Syrup
1-2TbsAlmond Milk
Instructions
Prepare your space. Preheat the oven to 350℉. Grease a 9x5 loaf pan and set aside.
Mix the dry ingredients. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, spices and salt.
Vegan butter + sugar. Combine melted vegan butter and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add in applesauce and vanilla.
Combine + fold. Alternate adding in dry ingredients and apple cider in two additions each, until just combined. Fold in shredded apple. Don’t overmix.
Bake. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50-55 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 30 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
Glaze with magic. Whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup and almond milk until smooth. Drizzle over the cooled loaf.
